If you want to "rusticate" in comfort, consider this unique house on Vinalhaven's Long Cove. The property can be reached only by boat; it's an easy row or putt-putt across the narrow cove to a neighbor's dock to get your car, or you can sail/motor your own boat and use the convenient mooring.
